A 17-year-old Aussie lad convicted of throwing eggs at Justin Bieber insists he is actually a 'Belieber' – a fan of the singer - and he did it to get his attention.
The hoody-wearing teen, who can’t be named for legal reasons, crept into Sydney’s Acer Arena, climbed a gantry and dropped eggs on Justin and his dancers when he performed in the city back in April.
He has now been handed a six month good behaviour bond by a Sydney magistrate.
But speaking afterwards, he insisted: 'I brush my teeth to Justin Bieber!
'Some people say I hate him but I did it to get his attention.
'I’m sure any 14-year-old girl would have done the same thing.'
None of the eggs actually hit Justin.
