Justin Bieber's NSN Necklace and DVD 'Fan Cut' in Stores

Finally, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Director's Fan Cut and NSN necklace is on sale today at Target stores. The long-awaited movie of the year is out and has some cool extras to boot.

Buckle your seatbelt because here comes a trifecta of good news in the Belieber nation and beyond, if one calls it good news at all:
First of all, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez -- don't wager your bank roll on it -- didn't break up , says Gather writer Effie Orfanides. That rumor, for the moment is dead.
Second, Sel Go attacked fans of Bieber when she covered Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass." That's standing up for your man, girl.
And finally, the DVD you've been waiting for so long is in stores, y'all, with new features.
But get this -- it even has new songs and behind the scenes footage from the pop star hanging out with BFF Sean Kingston (don't miss the Segue footage). It even includes a commemorative NSN necklace.
The two-DVD boxed set is about 27 minutes longer than the original 3D biopic that debuted in theaters back in February of this year.
The popularity of that release was so great in terms of revenue, it surpassed Michael Jackson's This is it concert film.
A Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Fan Cut was a logical thing to do given the success of the project.
So if you're a fan of the biggest pop star in the game now, once you score your copy (it'll set you back $29.95) you get a chance to see what he does behind the scenes at his sound check parties and what touring on the road is like, according to OK Magazine. Not bad -- not bad at all.
Okay, here's another spoiler for the Justin Bieber: Never Say Never Fan Cut:
JB does the Dougie! Ole boy can dance, and that's no joke. Perhaps it helps hanging out with Sean Kingston and Lil Wayne. Sorry Selena Gomez rumor mill starters.
Can't wait to get your copy? Check out a clip of the DVD here:

Anthony Kiedis: Bieber movie made me cry

The Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman is renowned for his wild lifestyle, having battled drug addiction when he was younger. Anthony is now clean and finds value in other things, such as watching movies.

He recently sat through Justin’s 3D release Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which follows the young Canadian’s rise to the top. Anthony was deeply affected by what he saw, bursting into tears on two occasions.
“I’m a crier. I could cry every day, in a good way, if I just sit and think about my boy. But I sat on an aeroplane recently, coming from Hawaii to Los Angeles, with [record producer] Rick Rubin just across the aisle, watching the Justin Bieber movie, Never Say Never. I cried twice during that film and I want the world to know that!” he laughed to Q magazine.
“They were doing this very cheesy giveaway of concert tickets to 16-year-old girls. The cheesiness didn’t matter – it was the reaction of the kids. When you saw those little girls crying deliriously, I lost it.”
Anthony has been open about his addictions, detailing his use of heroin and cocaine in his memoir Scar Tissue. He had an unconventional upbringing, with his father John introducing him to drugs and arranging for him to lose his virginity when he was 12.
The 48-year-old doesn’t blame anyone else for his problems though, and thinks his life would have been the same no matter how he was raised.
“That was a little time bomb inside of me that was always waiting to go off,” he mused. “Environment has an influence, but I think that would have happened regardless of my upbringing. There was some demon in there waiting to have its time.
“I never felt like dying was a good idea. I’ve just had a kid, so I’m looking for a long haul at this point.”

Justin Bieber New Behind the scenes DVD

Already a successful documentary film, Justin Bieber’s flick, “Never Say Never,” hits the streets Friday (August 15) on DVD.
The film is an in-depth look at Bieber’s meager beginnings as he puts in the work to become a pop megastar. It features interviews and concert footage, and as Bieber once explained to MTV News, he hopes it finally quiets his haters who might think he’s some pre-packaged pop phenom.

“People didn’t really know,” he explained to MTV News. “They didn’t understand that I’ve been playing music ever since I was born, and it’s always been in me. And this movie is really going to show that I’m not just some packaged thing that some A&R put together. It was actually just me living my dream and just making music.”
The film is an eye-catching look at the life of the star, and there are some very memorable moments. Here are our Top 5.
His Hair Swoop in 3-D
OK, the hair really did help make Bieber a star, and in a pre-haircut world, those bangs had girls swooning. Turns out, when you have Bieber swoosh his bangs around in slow-motion 3-D, it really puts butts in theater seats.
His Grandfather’s Taxidermy
Going home with Bieber is particularly interesting (you get to see his childhood bedroom!), but seeing him play with his grandfather’s stuffed dead animals, well, that’s priceless.
Vintage Videos
Whether he’s singing on a stoop or meeting with Usher, these vintage clips paint a picture of a young man dedicated to getting his voice heard. They help shape the story of Bieber’s life and the movie’s arc.
Meeting Bieber’s Team
Getting to know the men and women who work tirelessly to keep Bieber happy really gives fans the nitty gritty of what it takes to keep the Bieber machine on track.
The Performances
Never been to a Bieber concert? No problem. These glittery 3-D moments give viewers a perfect idea of what a Bieber show is like: screaming fans, A-list cameos (Miley Cyrus, Usher) and all.

Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never

Pop star Justin Bieber’s 3D documentary Never Say Never should satisfy any die-hard Bieber fan and even those doubters.“He is a regular kid who had a dream and it, like, came true,” says one teenage female fan outside a Justin Bieber concert. That is what director Jon M. Chu strives to show: a young kid from a broken but loving and stable -- home in a tiny town in Canada discovered through internet.

Priceless and adorable, this is what will keep his fans coming back for repeat viewings. For the non-believers, it shows that the boy is talented and willing to work hard for his success.

The home videos are also inter-cut with the people in Bieber’s life, past and present - his mother, grandparents, schoolteacher, best friends and others who knew him in his hometown of Stratford, Ontario. We also meet everybody on Team Justin - the vocal teacher, the manager, the bodyguard, all of whom come off as sincere and protective of their young prodigy.

The concert footage -- featuring plenty of guest stars such as Usher, Ludacris, Boys II Men and Miley Cyrus, are ostensibly there to add star power, but only reinforce that it is Bieber -- and only Bieber -- that the fans want.
Never is that more prevalent then during the “Lonely Girl” portion of the film where during his concerts, a female fan is pulled on stage to be serenaded by Bieber himself as he sings the ballad, “One Less Lonely Girl.” The attention Bieber showers the ‘chosen one’ and the girls’ overwhelming response to being picked is the film’s biggest ‘feel-good’ moment. Although the whole stage act is designed to make one lucky girl’s day -- if not year -- Chu makes it an emotional and moving experience that is practically tear inducing.

Did Paramount, Justin Bieber Deceive Fans in 'Never Say Never' Ads?

Paramount's "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never" may have become a $73 million hit for the studio this winter, but the ad industry's self-regulatory group decided the film's marketing might trick some fans into thinking the pop star himself might turn up at their screening.

The Children's Advertising Review Unit, a division of the Council of Better Business Bureau, recommended that Paramount Pictures modify or discontinue a 60-second TV spot that featured a surprise appearance from the singer at a Los Angeles movie theater, accompanied by the statement, "This could happen in your theater."

Although Justin Bieber did in fact make unannounced appearances at several L.A.-area movie theaters shortly after the film's February release, CARU found that the ads could deceptively imply that the singer would make appearances in other cities as well. The spot aired during children's programming, but the messaging was used in only one of 32 different TV ads used by the studio to promote the film, representing less than 1% of the total broadcast buy for the film.

"Advertising should be neither deceptive nor unfair, as these terms are applied under the Federal Trade Commission Act, to the children to whom it is directed," CARU said in its four-page decision document.

In a statement, the studio said, "Paramount Pictures respectfully disagrees with the final case decision for reasons set forth in its response letter to CARU. Nevertheless, the commercial is no longer running and will not be used again."

CARU has previously criticized the film industry for marketing PG-13 films to children under 12, and issued a report to the Motion Picture Association of America in 2008 about films with inappropriate marketing practices.
