Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber have been dating six months. After weeks of affection-filled outings and romantic vacations, does Selena Gomez foresee them professionally getting involved in the future? Maybe.
According to PopEater, Gomez, 18, appeared on Good Morning America on Friday where she performed some of her hits and participated in a Q&A session. One question, from a fan on Twitter, asked Gomez whether she’d consider a collaboration with her superstar boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
Gomez expressed that she was open to the idea, answering with a promising maybe.
"Whenever I do songs I kind of do them organically," Gomez said. "So if it happens it happens."
While Gomez considers a collaboration, Justin Bieber hopes to make it a reality. He reportedly recently expressed a desire to work with Gomez.
“Maybe I’d sing with Selena, I’ve heard all of her new stuff it’s amazing,” he said, according to Disney Dreaming. “I would also love to work with Will.i.am as well as Jay-Z on a cool fun record.”
The collaboration, whether it be with Gomez, Will.i.am or Jay-Z, could happen sooner than later as Bieber hinted on Twitter that he is making new music.
“Chillin with friends. good to get a break. excited to make new music,” he wrote Friday.
When new Bieber music will come, and when that Bieber-Gomez collaboration may happen, is to be seen. For now, Bieber can be seen in Chris Brown’s “Next 2 You” music video, and Gomez is busy promoting two big projects: her new film, Monte Carlo, with Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester, and the release of her album, When the Sun Goes Down, due to hit stores on June 28.
