Justin Bieber on his style: "I just think it looks good"

Justin Bieber has said that he just wears clothes that 'look good'.
The My World singer, who donned a pair of glasses at last month's VMAs, admitted that he cannot find the words to describe his style.

When asked to explain his fashion sense, Bieber told ET Online: "I don't really know, I can't really describe it. I just think it looks good, that's all."
Of launching his own clothing range, Bieber said: "You know, maybe down the line, I'm not opposed to anything. But right now, I'm focusing on this next album."
Meanwhile, the 17-year-old also declared his admiration for rapper Kanye West's fashion knowledge, adding: "I think Kanye West has great style."

"I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do - to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25."

Justin on Being Bieber

A throng of screaming fans greeted Justin Bieber outside Dolce & Gabbana’s Madison Avenue store Thursday night and the noise level wasn’t much better indoors. But the teen idol turned out to be the consummate guest of honor, calmly assuring the paparazzi that they would each get their shot. The Canadian singer and actor was nearly as unhurried when answering reporters’ predictable questions.

Later, upstairs and away from the media mosh pit, Bieber showed more of his 17-year-old self — watching “Family Guy” on a tablet as he signed T-shirts for excitable youngsters and more than a few fawning adults. Dressed in a purple leather jacket, gray really-low-ride jeans and black high-tops, Bieber sang to himself and occasionally checked himself out in a mirror as he hiked three flights to be certain his pants weren’t heading too far south.

In a Green Room stocked with soda, cold cuts and Swedish Fish, the pop star opened up to WWD about his financially challenging childhood, Selena Gomez, designer ambitions, Usher’s style advice and why he wants to wed in 10 years’ time.

WWD: What’s more powerful, fashion or music?
Justin Bieber: For me, as a musician, I think music is the universal language. No matter who you are or where you are, you love music, you know, whatever music that may be, whether it’s country or rock music. Music is very complicated. It brings a lot of emotions that you can’t really speak about.
WWD: Do you see fashion in your future?
Definitely, I want to eventually start a clothing line or a shoe line, something like that. But nothing is in the works right now. I’m just focusing on my music now.
WWD: Is there anyone’s style you look up to?
Yeah, Kanye West. Usher’s real cool. He knows way more about fashion than I do. I’m learning from him. He helps me put stuff together and find different designers who I’ve never heard of. I just got a pair of Fendi sunglasses. I’d never heard of them before. I like Louis [as in Vuitton]. I started wearing their belts and stuff, which I really like [lifting his jacket to reveal an “LV” belt buckle].
WWD: How would you describe your style?
I try not to do too much. I try to keep it, I’m not sure what the word is — I don’t get too dressy. I don’t like to dress up. I really like to keep it casual.
WWD: Do you think you’re more influential than Barack Obama or the Dalai Lama, as that British report suggested?
No, I think those people are very influential and popular. I’m just lucky to be in the position I’m in.
WWD: Has your career played out as you expected it to?
I never really thought I was going to be like this. I did it for fun at first. Now that it’s gotten so crazy, sometimes I look back and think, “Wow! This is crazy.” I performed for the President of the United States. That was a wild moment. Winning a VMA, that was a big moment.
WWD: How do you stay normal.
I love to play sports and stuff. I love just hanging out with my friends. I’m just a regular 17-year-old. I grew up playing hockey so I like to get on the ice every once in a while. I love to play basketball and I try to play soccer as much as I can.
WWD: Why did you decide to have a charitable component in every business deal you do?
I love what I do but I think it’s important to give back, especially for me. I was less fortunate. I didn’t have a lot. I grew up in geared-to-income housing. It was always rough for me.
WWD: What was rough?
We went to the food drive all the time. I always thought, “If I ever get rich or famous, I will help people who are less fortunate than me.” This year I’m helping with the food drive in my hometown. I’m just trying to do as much as I can with everything I do. With Pencil of Power, we gave $1 for every ticket sold on my tour, which was amazing.
WWD: How influential has your mother been in your life in terms of her resourcefulness as a single mother?
She always pushed me to be the best that I can be. But she never pushed anything on me. She always let me do what I wanted to do. She let me follow my dreams. She never held me back.
WWD: You told one of the kids earlier that you’re still friendly with Selena.
She’s amazing. She’s my girlfriend right now.
WWD: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
[Visibly counting] Well, by 25 or 26, I want to see myself, like, married or start looking for a family. I want to be a young dad. I want to be able to have done what I wanted to do — to be successful, to do a movie or whatever. But if the time is right, I definitely want to be married by 25.
One thing — I’m not looking to get married now.

Justin Bieber has a whale of a time

HOPE Justin Bieber wasn't expecting a big St Bernard dog to turn up when he was told he'd be meeting Beethoven.

The singer enjoyed an afternoon in the water alongside Beethoven, an 18-year-old beluga whale, in Atlanta, US, this week.
Justin was so impressed with the meeting at the Georgia Aquarium he posted a snap of himself and the whale on his Twitter page.
He wrote: "Hung out with a new friend yesterday."

Justin Bieber's Atlanta Sightseeing Excursion

Enjoying some well-deserved time off, Justin Bieber was spotted checking out the sights of Atlanta, GA on Wednesday afternoon (September 7).

Joined by a group of friends, the “One Time” singer first visited The World of Coca-Cola followed by a stop at Boston Market restaurant to grab up some lunch.

At one point, the Biebs showed off his exclusive flashy red iPhone to his hairstylist, Vanessa Price.

After tweeting a pic of the unusual handset phone earlier in the week, it has been discovered that Apple has not released the red iPhone to the public just yet.

Is Justin Bieber Looking to Get Into the Tech Biz?

Justin Bieber has his own line of, well, pretty much everything, but a new report says the 17-year-old has invested cash into a hush-hush tech start-up. Is the pop star looking to get into a new field?

According to Business Insider, there's a rumor that Bieber has put his money into a "stealth New York startup," described as "a good-natured" company with "other high-profile celebrity backers on board."
Nothing has been confirmed just yet, but if it's true, this could be an interesting move for the Canadian singer, who already dominates the social media space via Twitter, Facebook and more. Maybe the Biebs is taking Justin Timberlake's advice after all...
Are you surprised that JB would want to invest in a start-up? What kind of technology would you want to see Justin back? Let us know what you think in the comments.

Justin Bieber's haircut gets a ton of traffic

Google has been the home for strange Internet searches for a long time and now they compiled a list of 2011’s most searched haircuts. You can guess who made number 1, but then again some of you might be surprised by it as well. Justin Bieber’s haircut is the most searched haircut for this year. But a fellow former kid star is right behind him, Emma Watson. Here is the full list if you are curious as for who was all named.

1: Justin Bieber
2: Emma Watson
3: Jennifer Aniston
4: Jim Jones
5: Kim Kardashian
6: Soulja Boy
7: Kate Winslet
8: Lil Wayne
9: Dorothy Hamil
 10: Meagen Good
Not bad for three of them to be as followed as they are. Justin’s new look was surprising, but I think most people knew he wanted to change his look to something more polished at one point. As for Emma’s haircut, that was surprising but we all have learned to like it. It really has become her trademark look now, it does help make her look more mature. Kim’s beauty is always a trending topic, so no surprise here.

Bieber producers vs. Tourism Ministry

Producers who brought Canadian pop singer to Israel demand ministry pay them back for costs of touristic part of visit
Five months have passed since Justin Bieber's concert in Tel Aviv, but the Canadian pop singer's producers in Israel are now demanding that the Tourism Ministry pay them back for the costs of the touristic part of the visit.
Bieber's visit to Israel was initiated by a private production company, led by producers Marcel Avram and Gad Oron, and Attorney Hagai Strohweiss. Before the concert, however, Bieber toured Israel as a guest of the Tourism Ministry. The show's producers claimed Wednesday that the costs of the tour were paid by the production company, which would like its money back now.
According to the claims, the visit included four tour days, costing $6,000 a day. This sum includes the singer's security expenses and transportation services.
"The Tourism Ministry used the security and transportation services we financed for Bieber, so that he could tour the country for PR purposes," the production company claims.

The affair, according to producer Gad Oron, began about a month and a half before Bieber's arrival. "The Tourism Ministry approached us and asked to be part of Bieber's visit to Israel, in order to promote the Dead Sea as one of the New7Wonders of Nature and have Bieber pose for a photos with the tourism minister there," says Oron.
"We agreed, as it was clear that they would take part in the costs too, but since then and until Bieber landed in Israel, we didn't hear from them. The morning after he landed, we saw Tourism Ministry representatives at the hotel trying to take him on a tour.
"The bodyguards I hired told me that Tourism Ministry officials wanted to go on a tour with Bieber, and asked me whether they should accompany him on the tour," Oron said, adding that he responded: "Escort him as needed, and we'll take care of everything."

After the tours, he turned to the Tourism Ministry and asked to get his money back. "They ignored me," the producer said. "Later, I received a rude and impolite answer, so I decided to drop it."
'Ministry's interference damaged State's image'
Another member of the production team added, "When the meeting between Justin Bieber and the prime minister was supposedly canceled, the Tourism Ministry turned to us to help solve the crisis. They asked us to talk to Bieber's side and get them to let go of the matter.
"After the whole tour affair, we made great efforts to keep it quiet, so it's a shame that the Tourism Ministry is engaging in trivial things.
"The Tourism Ministry's interference in Bieber's visit to Israel only damaged the State's image."
A Tourism Ministry official strongly denied the claims, telling Ynet that the ministry "was not linked and is not linked to the producers of Justin Bieber's show in any agreement or commitment, and they were not a party in the Tourism Ministry's talks upon the singer's arrival in Israel.
"The Tourism Ministry hosts thousands of opinion formers, including first-class celebrities, and our contact with them is held directly and without any connection to the reason of their visit or their other activities in Israel.
"In this case too, the ministry held direct talks with the artist's team, to the satisfaction of both sides. The producers of Justin Bieber's show were not a party to these talks."
Attorney Hagai Strohweiss, a member of the Bieber production team in Israel, said in response: "If we were not a party in this affair and the Tourism Ministry used the cars we rented and bodyguards we hired, we would like them to give us back the money."

Justin Bieber Does Fashion Night Out

Justin Bieber is certainly turning out to be a well-rounded teen. From singing to producing to fashion, this guy does it all. Bieber's recent interest in fashion has been taken up a notch, with the star always dressing to the nines for events like the MTV VMAs. Today, the Biebs arrived in New York to support Dolce & Gabbana at Fashion Night Out.

Just Jared reports on the event, saying, "The 17-year-old musician, wearing head to toe Dolce & Gabbana, attended the event along with his manager, Scooter Braun, to sign D&G tees for his fans." Check out the photos below showing a pimped out Justin Bieber wearing a purple shiny coat and faded jeans. He's also wearing his signature glasses which will probably have a huge comeback this year, thanks to the young star.

Though Justin seems to be embracing his role as a fashion icon, trying to push boundaries with his style, girlfriend Selena Gomez looks content to dress like an average teenager. Though Justin looks like he's having a fun time on the red carpet for this event, it is something that's usually for adults and not 17-year-olds. It is nice, though, that he attended and signed t-shirts for fans.

Justin Bieber Starts Up Investing his Money as Startup Investor

He's got lots. So why not invest it? The Financial Post says diminutive pop star Justin Bieber is investing big wades of money. With Steve Nash?

Canada's Financial Post is a pretty highbrow newspaper, more tuned toward those involved in the stock market and the world of finances and politics than those who enjoy reading about pop music. It's certainly not aimed at teenage fans of Justin Bieber, the Canadian singer who made it big in the U.S., and elsewhere.
But where there's money, and Justin Bieber has money, there's a story and the Post ran a story on Bieber on September 6, 2011. Post reporter Alyson Shontell uncovered interesting financial news about the Biebs, news that arguably shows he's thinking already of his future.
In a video of Beiber playing basketball with fellow Canadian and two-time NBA MVP Steve Nash that hit the internet recently there are others playing in the pick-up game. One, Shontell writes, is a guy by the name of Mike Duda; Duda is an investment guy, and by some accounts a good one. He's the one wearing blue in the b-ball clip.

It seems JB has had enough of being the most famous teen in the world...
Justin Bieber has confessed that he would love to be a "normal kid" again.

Biebs may have the cash, career and a hot girlfriend, but the Baby hitmaker has revealed that if he had the opportunity to return to his pre-fame life, he would grab it with both hands.

Justin Bieber Leads Team Bieber to Victory Over Team Luda

Proudly showing off his on-court prowess, Justin Bieber took to Atlanta, Georgia to hoop it up in the LudaDay Celebrity Basketball Game 2011 on Sunday afternoon (September 4).

With the Ludacris hosted charity matchup taking place at the Morehouse Forbes Arena, the "One Time" hitmaker captained a squad appropriately named "Team Bieber" while taking on Team Luda during the Peach State b-ball action.
Talking plenty of smack prior to game time, Justin tweeted the day before tipoff, "#TEAMBIEBER is goin hard on sunday in ATL. #LUDADAYWEEKEND. Victory is the only outcome! WHO IS COMING?! #charity"

Later in the night, the 17-year-old sensation wrote, "finished in the studio for the night. did something real special for u. now heading to ATL for this bball game btw #TEAMBIEBER and #TeamLuda"

Justin Bieber in Studio: He's Recording Music but With Who?

Justin Bieber is having a busy Labor Day weekend. Without his girlfriend Selena Gomez, the entertainer has been visiting family, supporting charity and making music. According to the entertainer, who is keeping the fans abreast of his whereabouts, he was working late on Saturday night in the studio.

There hasn't been a secret on what project the artist is recording. A Christmas album announced weeks ago is common knowledge. Yet most fans thought his recording sessions were complete after he hinted that the special guest entertainers finished recording with him.
Apparently not. Justin Bieber is in Atlanta for a basketball charity game over the weekend and while he is in town, on a holiday, he was back in the studio. Bringing the sounds of the season to the digital sound booth, the entertainer is still working out the last pieces of the album.
The fans can hardly wait. With Christmas only three months away, the release of the album less than 60 days out, leaving the fans counting down the days. This pre-holiday gift might be the only thing a Justin Bieber fan needs for the holidays. Well, maybe not, but definitely a good start to the season.

Justin Bieber Crosses Up Fellow Canadian Steve Nash

There is a charity event taking place in Atlanta today called the Ludaday Weekend Celebrity Basketball Game, hosted by rapper Ludacris. Justin Bieber happens to be partaking in the festivities, so here’s him crossing up Steve Nash — who’s clearly trying his damnedest to stop the little fella — in preparation for some sort of highly anticipated showdown with Ludacris later this afternoon. Selena Gomez was left impressed and enthused.
Kevin Durant is reportedly a member of Bieber’s team and other stars like Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson, and Chris Paul are also supposedly part of the fun, but it wasn’t clear where their allegiance lies.

Lil Twist to release Justin Bieber single soon

Lil Twist has recorded a single with the in demand Justin Bieber. He talked to MTV at the 2011 Video Music Awards where he talked about his upcoming album and single. He shared the track “Wherever You Are” will be out before the years end. He and Justin have been friends for a while now, even worked on a mixed tape together. While Twist said he is not sure, when the mixed tape will be ready, he does know that the single will be fun. You can hear what he all had to say at the video of the bottom of this post.
Justin has been working hard with his friends as of lately. Justin has not been shy about his love of rap or R&B music, but he has been working on a few mixed tapes. It might be time for him to do one on his own, since he clearly loves it as much as he does.

Are you excited for “Wherever You Are”? I am curious to hear how it turned out. However, I am more now than ever before convinced that he needs to do rap on his own. I think his fan base will support it and he seems to be serious about proving that he can with all of these collaborations. It just seems to be the best step for him to make now and it could be released along with his new album.

Justin Bieber gives lame excuse to Selena Gomez?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez going their separate ways was bound to happen, it was just a matter of time, with the busy schedules these young adults follow. This Labor Day weekend will be one of those times for Justin and Selena, but it is just temporary! According to Hollywood Life, they will spend the last big weekend of the summer away from one another.

Selena is on a strict concert schedule which brings her to Colorado this weekend to perform her “We Own the Night,” show, so there is no chance for her to steal away some time and go see Justin. Justin is visiting his grandparents this weekend in Canada.
While "I'm going to be visiting my grandparents,"  would not be something many girls would take as an excuse from their boyfriends at this age, it totally sounds like he is blowing her off, but you're talking Justin Bieber. With cameras around every corner he would be a fool to say this and then do something else. Besides, he is close to his grandparents.

Justin Bieber headed back to Georgia - Usher coming to town too

For Justin Bieber fans eager to make his acquaintance you should know the MTV VMA winner is headed back to Georgia this month, and you can have a seat front and center for that appearance. Currently Bieber is in Canada during America's Labor Day weekend, visiting his grandparents (and this just in...climbing mountains). You can see a photo here, from Justin's Instagram.

Justin Bieber is headed back to Georgia in September to honor his musical mentor "Mama Jan" during an awards ceremony.
His lady love Selena Gomez is busy wowing her fans in Colorado, where she is performing to sold-out crowds. But in two weeks the boy wonder will be back in Georgia to honor his voice coach -- and Justin's Atlanta mom -- Jan Smith.

Justin Bieber Photo of His Bee-Stung Lips

A new Justin Bieber photo emerged showing his bee-stung lips. Well they were not really attacked by wasps or honeybees, but they look ruby-red like he turned to Botox injections for a minute.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and for the many Beliebers all over the world, there is nothing anyone can say or do that will tip their opinion in the negative about Selena Gomez's man.
But you have to get a peep of a new photo that popped up on the Internet showing Justin Bieber's bee-stung lips.
Ole boy is sporting some Steve McQueen round rimmed mirror glasses, a New York Yankees ball cap, some ear bling, and a pair of puff adder lips.
The photo of the Biebs probably came from his Instagram account; he plays around with that a lot.
Since he and Selena Gomez went their separate ways for Labor Day weekend, he is probably teasing her because they are apart.
The picture looks like he is saying to her, "you wanna lock lips babe" or "these lips are for your mouth only" or something like that.
Anyway, he is supposedly spending time back in his hometown of Canada with his grandparents during the holiday.
It's good to know that he can still keep it real with family instead of always hanging out with his homies. He's still just 17 years old, and before you know it, life will take him in another direction. But hopefully he will continue making music.
What do you think about the photo of Justin Bieber and his bee-stung lips?
