Justin Bieber's New LP 'Inspired' By Justin Timberlake

Justin Bieber has claimed his forthcoming album has been inspired by his namesake, Justin Timberlake.

The U Smile singer, who is gearing up to release festive LP Under The Mistletoe, has told our US Team that Timberlake is the main influence when it comes to the follow-up to his hit record, My World 2.0.

Speaking of his new album, JB stated: "What's happening is, get off this tour, and then my [holiday] album's coming out, so I have to go back out and promote that album... and then after that... it's almost time for my next album, so then everything starts over again."

"We've already started [working on it], but we're going to be going in every day and working with new people and trying to find the best sound, because I'm going to be recording different styles, different things until I find a solid 15 songs that I love."

He continued: "I'm trying to create a new sound that people aren't really used to hearing, so it might sound weird at first, but it's going to be like when Justin Timberlake did FutureSex/LoveSounds."

"It was a new sound ... acoustic guitar over hard drums. I want to find something that's going to suit me and my fans are going to love and older people will like and younger people will like.

JB added: "But I'm always trying to keep my core fanbase, because the young people are what make everything cool. Old people look to young people, so trying to keep everyone happy."

When asked when fans can expect hiss fresh material, the Biebster claimed the release is currently listed as "soon…early next year."

In the same interview, Justin also revealed he plans to shoot a new movie next summer, and that his team are "working on a script."

We can't wait…

Justin Bieber says his fans are 'perfect'

Some of Justin Bieber's fans are downright mental, we've all seen videos of the sort of mayhem his presence causes, but that doesn't bother Beebs at all, in fact he thinks his fans are "perfect"!

Really? Even with the screaming?

Justin is known for how much time he will spend with his fans and is always very appreciative of them, but we've witnessed how crazy they can get. We wouldn't blame him for wishing the Beliebers would be a tiny bit calmer!

But when MTV asked him if he wished he could get away from all the attention for a while he said: “I don’t wish anything. My fans are perfect the way they are.”

Aww isn't that nice of him? He could have said that as much as he loves them (and the fact that they buy his records) they are a right pain in the backside sometimes and a tad crazy but no. Turns out he likes them a bit mental!

What do you think? Reckon he really does like his fans being so full on? How would you cope with that level of fandemonium?

Comments please!

Justin Bieber Hopes To Shoot A Movie By Summer

His team is already 'working on the script,' Bieber tells MTV News.

Although most of Justin Bieber's time revolves around his music career (he has not one, but two albums in the works), the young entrepreneur also seems to have designs on a career in Hollywood.

Yes, he already hit the big screen with last year's box-office success "Never Say Never," but that film was unscripted and a biopic of sorts. When MTV News caught up with Bieber recently during the "MTV First" premiere of his "Mistletoe" video, he revealed that although he has a lot on his plate, he wants to make time to make a movie.

"What's happening is: get off this tour, and then my [holiday] album's coming out, so I have to go back out and promote that album ... and then after that ... it's almost time for my next album, so then everything starts over again," Bieber told us. "Hopefully next summer I can start on a movie or something," he snuck in.

And although Bieber didn't divulge exactly what kind of movie he wants to do, he did say that his team is "working on the script."

The 17-year-old teen heartthrob has expressed an interest in pursuing an acting career, particularly after he guest-starred on "CSI" last year, where he received praise from the show's executive producer and managed to impress everyone in the cast with his work ethic.

Bieber has also said he'd love to try out his comedic skills. "[I want] to do a comedy with Will Ferrell, like play his son or something like that," Bieber said, adding, "What's up, Will?"

Ludacris Denies Writing Rap For Bieber

Ludacris has denied reports suggesting he was asked to write a rap to help Justin Bieber land a spot in a group freestyle performance at the Bet Hip-Hop Awards.

The awards ceremony is famous for its pre-recorded musical segments, known as cyphers, which this year (11) was presented by DJ Premier and featured rappers Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris and B.o.B., as well as a rhyming Chris Brown.

Earlier this week (begs17Oct11), Premier revealed there was one eager participant he was forced to reject when putting together the rap posse - because the Baby hitmaker wasn't expected to pen his own lyrics.

The producer said, "Justin Bieber even asked if he could do the cypher... But, then we heard, 'He wants Luda to write his rhyme.' I was like, 'Oh, no, no, no, no, no.' If you ain't (sic) writing your own rhyme, you can't do it."

However, Ludacris has now reached out to Premier to clear up the rumours, insisting he was never approached to help Bieber with his punchlines.

In a Twitter.com post, the rapper writes, "My Lil homie @justinbieber loves hip hop & at no point was I supposed to write his cypher flow. #getyafactsright"

And Premier has thanked Ludacris for setting the record straight.

He tweets, "Spoke 2 (sic) @Ludacris & he witnessed Justin Beiber (sic) write his rhymes & that he can flow... He said he wasn't s'posed (supposed) to write 4 tha (for the) Cypher... So shout to @Ludacris for givin' me the correct info."

The Bet Hip-Hop Awards took place in Atlanta, Georgia on 1 October (11).

Justin Bieber 'Has His Head On Straight'

'You don't hear anything bad about this guy,' Boyz II Men's Nate Morris says of teen superstar during 'MTV First: Justin Bieber.'

Justin Bieber is bridging the generation gap with his star-studded holiday album, Under the Mistletoe. He's collaborated with a string of stars like Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes and Usher for the November 1 LP. But it's the Biebs' pairing with Boyz II Men that's sure to expand the teen star's fanbase.

We spoke to BIIM's Nate Morris via Skype during our special "MTV First: Justin Bieber" this week, and he shared his thoughts on the young singer as well as their holiday collabo "Falalalala."

"We respect him, man," the R&B crooner told MTV News' James Montgomery. "I watch what he does, I watch what the people around him do, and they're guiding him in the right directions. You don't hear anything bad about this guy. He has his head on straight."

JB's team includes his mother, Pattie, who Morris said clearly has Bieber's best interests at heart. "His mom has got his focus in the right direction and as long as she does that, he'll be just fine," he added.

So will Boyz II Men head to the studio again with the pop superstar? Morris was optimistic, saying, "Oh, without a doubt. We just have to figure out the right circumstance. This was perfect for us because, you know, we wanted to try to make sure that the first song we did together was something that people could accept the two artists doing together. ... If there's a soundtrack or whatever that comes along that we can create something special, that'll be hot."

BIIM's team-up with JB is just one of many treats the group has planned for their comeback. On October 25, they're set to drop Twenty, a new double-disc set that features both brand-new tracks and re-recorded classics.

"It's a collection of our best work, we think," Morris admitted. "I mean, 20 years is a long time to be in this business, so we tried to encompass a little bit of everything. ...We wanted to bring everything together all on one [album] even for those young Bieber fans who may not know all the Boyz II Men records — they can get all the history and today's music on one CD."
