Justin Bieber 'Rooting For Drake' At BET Awards

But pop star stays mum on what he has in store for fans during Sunday's show, airing live on BET at 8 p.m. ET.

Justin Bieber isn't nominated in any of the categories at this Sunday's 2011 BET Awards, but that isn't stopping the teen superstar from making an appearance. With so many of his pals up for prizes at the show, it's anyone's guess what the Biebs might do come awards day, and he's keeping it a surprise.

"You never know. I will never tell you, ever, even if there was a fire right now," the singer joked to MTV News on Thursday at a New York City event for his fragrance, Someday. "I wouldn't tell you. I can't tell you [or I'd] have to kill you."
Usher, Chris Brown, Drake, former crush BeyoncĂ© and Kanye West are among the performers nominated this year and they're also pals of Bieber's. And while he's excited for all of them, Justin said he's rooting hardest for his countryman. "I'm rooting for Drake," he said of his fellow Canadian. "Drake is my homey."
Brown has six nods, Lil Wayne has five, and Kanye West, Drake and Rihanna each have four. The Video of the Year category has a surprising mix of contenders, including Willow Smith for "Whip My Hair," Marsha Ambrosius' "Far Away," B.o.B's "Airplanes," Brown's "Look at Me Now," Hilson's "Pretty Girl Rock" and West's "Runaway."
In addition to the big-name nominees, among the A-list performers slated to take the stage at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium are BeyoncĂ©, Jill Scott, Alicia Keys, Lil Wayne, Drake and Brown. Nicki Minaj and Bruno Mars have also been added to the show's lineup.
The 2011 BET Awards, hosted by comedian Kevin Hart, air live on Sunday, June 26, at 8 p.m. ET on BET.

Tiffani-Amber Thiessen on the Justin Bieber T-Shirt She Wore Last Night

On Sunday night, Justin Bieber hit Canada's MuchMusic awards in a Kelly Kapowski T-shirt. (Make-you-feel-old fact: Bieber wasn't even born when Saved by the Bell went off the air.) Last night at the premiere of Horrible Bosses, Kelly, uh, sorry, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen returned the compliment, wearing a Bieber T-shirt only slightly less awesome than this Photoshopped tube-dress look. We caught up with the actress, who co-stars on USA's White Collar, to ask her about her feelings on the Bieb and the provenance of her shirt.

I saw a photo of Justin Bieber wearing a T-shirt with you on it, now you’re reciprocating, wearing one of him. How did this come about?
I have no idea how it came about with him, but I’m just trying to show the love back, that’s all.
Are you a fan?
Of course I am. He’s adorable.
Did you see his movie Never Say Never?
I’ll say yes. [Laughs.] Sure!
Where did you get that T-shirt?
Actually, I had my show, White Collar — they got it in Times Square. They’re all over the place. I have, like, 9 million of them in my apartment right now. So if anybody wants Justin Bieber T-shirts, I’ve got them.
He’s actually in town today; he did a perfume launch at Macy's.
That’s what I hear. I may swing on by and say hi.

Scuffle at Justin Bieber event 'a misunderstanding'

Police said a 47-year-old man standing in the doorway refused to step aside and had to be physically moved.
The 17-year-old Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, was not injured in the scuffle

New York: A scuffle outside a Macy's department store where Justin Bieber was attending a promotional event on Thursday for his new fragrance was "a misunderstanding," the singer's representative said.

"This was a momentary, well-intentioned misunderstanding that was quickly resolved, and the event went very well," said publicist Melissa Victor in an email.

The incident happened outside the Broadway entrance of Macy's in Manhattan.

Police said Bieber's representatives contacted them to say he wanted to go outside to greet fans.
Police set up a small pen where he could do so. Bieber left the pen and went straight to the main barricade holding back an estimated 500 people.

The crowd surged forward and the barricade started to come down. Police officers and Bieber's personal security detail then surrounded him to usher him back inside.
Police said a 47-year-old man standing in the doorway refused to step aside and had to be physically moved.
The man was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and released. Police learned later that he was a member of the singer's security team.

The 17-year-old Canadian singer was not injured in the scuffle. Inside Bieber seemed unfazed. He gave interviews to the press, posed for photographs and with fans.

Justin Bieber - Justin Bieber Reacts To Macys 'Attack'

Justin Bieber, the 17-year-old Canadian pop sensation, has taken to his Twitter page to describe yesterday's events in New York as "wild". Justin Bieber was tackled to the ground by an undercover police officer while promoting his new perfume 'Someday' at MACy's in Manhattan, reports Abc News.

Bieber had stepped outside the store to meet thousands of waiting fans, when one individual jumped the barrier and tackled the 17-year-old to the ground. As the singer' security staff pounced on who they assumed was a crazed fan, Bieber managed to be escorted back inside the department store. The singer's spokesperson later confirmed the 'attacker' was simply an undercover police officer attempting to protect Justin from the over-excited crowd. The singer still appeared visibly shaken as he posed for photographs with fans inside the store and in a Twitter post noted, "New York. Wild Day", before adding, "ilovemyfans and for those i didnt get to see today....thank u for your love and support". Despite the incident, the 'Baby' hit-maker later attended the premiere of his girlfriend Selena Gomez's new movie 'Monte Carlo'.

It was announced on Wednesday that Justin Bieber would be appearing at this week's Bet Awards in Los Angeles. The singer will be joining the likes of Queen Latifah, Bruno Mars, Gladys Knight and Nicki Minaj.

Justin Bieber gets tackled during fragrance unveiling in New York

Justin Bieber is diversified, which keeps the teen titan in the black but also apparently forces him to learn a little bit of jujitsu.

During an appearance at Macy’s in New York City to present his brand new fragrance (which is cryptically called Someday), he was accosted by a man who hopped a barricade outside the store.
According to the local New York ABC affiliate, Bieber was holding court inside the store but decided to head out onto the sidewalk to shake some hands and sign some autographs for the thousands of tweens who gathered to get a glimpse of the him but were denied entry into the store.
Bieber took a swing back at the man, who has not been identified, and was not hurt in the incident. UPDATE: According to new reports, the man in question was a plainclothes police officer who was attempting to help the singer and was restrained by Bieber’s bodyguards.
You can track the brief altercation in the video after the jump, but be warned that it’s taken from quite a distance (though it really captures the size of the crowd) and contains a lot of NSFW potty-mouthed narration from the knuckle-headed videographers.
Bieber’s other appearances around New York were a lot less intense, including his visit to The View (which saw him roll around the set on a Segway) and a drop-in on The Late Show With David Letterman (where he read the Top 10).
Neither of those ended in him being tackled, but considering he walked away unscathed, maybe his next source of income should be from MMA fights (just like fellow Canadian George St-Pierre).

A bolt from the blue! Selena Gomez dazzles at premiere of her new film... and boyfriend Justin comes along for moral support

There is no doubt that Selena Gomez has fully bounced back from her hospitalisation for malnutrition earlier this month.
In fact the 18-year-old singer and actress was the belle of the ball at the premiere of her new film Montecarlo in New York, last night.
With her 17-year-old boyfriend Justin Bieber in attendance for support, Selena was a vision in blue for the glitzy event.

The teenager slipped her slender frame into a stunning cornflower-coloured chiffon gown, complete with glitter effect.
The low-cut frock set off the former Disney star's glowing complexion, and had a hint of sexiness with the skirt's slight sheerness.
Waving to her fans, Selena beamed and was clearly excited ahead of her big night out.
She looked happy to catch up with her co-stars, such as Katie Cassidy, as she walked the press line before the film's screening.
Justin on the other-hand opted for more casual attire for his girlfriend's special occassion, dressing in an all black uniform consisting of a black jacket, trousers and t-shirt, but standing out by sporting some chunky bright red trainers.

Opting not to steal the limelight from Selena, Justin arrived for the premiere separately, and the couple were not photographed together on the night.
This is the second time this week he has accompanied his girlfriend to one of her all important events.
The singer also wrapped a protective arm around Selena when she hosted the MuchMusic Video Awards awards ceremony on Sunday night.
Selena has had a rocky few weeks after she fell ill and was admitted into hospital for 24 hours with malnutrition earlier this month.
And Sunday's event was Selena's first public appearance since her dramatic hospital dash.
Bieber took to the stage to accept an award, which he shared with hip hop star Drake, after they were named joint winners of best international Canadian video.
He also scooped the honour for favourite artist by ordinary Canadians, adding yet more awards to his growing trophy collection.
But tonight was certainly Selena's night, and she was having a ball celebrating her new romantic comedy with her female co-stars.
The film sees three young women on holiday in Paris and find themselves whisked away to Monte Carlo after one of the girls is mistaken for a British heiress.
Selena stars in the film alongside two of Gossip Girl’s actresses Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.
Cassidy was stunning in a peach coloured lace shift dress which she paired with matching platform pumps.
The colouring of the frock offset her lovely tan and honey-hued hair which she wore in an up-do.
Justin's night out also comes after a dramatic day for the pop sensation.
An undercover NYPD cop was allegedly taken out by one of Justin Bieber's own bodyguards when he was mistaken for a crazed fan trying to attack the teenage superstar in a bizarre melee that resulted in one of Bieber's own security guards being issued with a summons.
The pint-sized singer was at an event at Macy's department store in New York when the cop was allegedly grabbed by a bodyguard as screaming teenage girls surged towards Justin.
The plain-clothed officer stepped in to protect the Canadian heartthrob from the crowd surge when an overprotective Bieber bodyguard allegedly grabbed him and tried to pull him away from the boy.
Bieber was reportedly shaken up by the incident, which saw the bodyguard issued a summons for disorderly conduct.

Justin Bieber survives a wild day in New York City

Justin Bieber attacked by a strange man? Justin Bieber knocked to the ground? Justin Bieber mobbed by fans gone wild outside Macy's Herald Square? The story people heard all depended on what time they checked in on the drama that unfolded Thursday around the pop star's appearance at Macy's Herald Square in New York.
Fans, top and bottom, hit Macy's Herald Square in Manhattan to see Justin Bieber, left, at the launch of his fragrance, Someday.

Long story short: The Biebs is just fine, the strange man was actually a plainclothes cop, and police said the pop star wasn't touched, only his bodyguard. By the way, the NYPD said later, the misunderstanding was the bodyguard's fault -- which is why members of Bieber's security team were cited for disorderly conduct.
Now back to the real stars of the Macy's Herald Square appearance: the girls. The store was overrun with them in a frenzied, tweenage mess of pink and purple, a tangle of braces, braids and bubble gum, drawn by their idol's efforts to launch a new fragrance, Someday. (All proceeds from the perfume, launched Monday by Give Back Brands, will be donated to charity.)
Screaming in unison with faces flushed and arms thrust in the air, the deafening cacophony of 300-some girls' high-pitched wailing echoed throughout the store. Even the security guards were wincing and covering their ears.

At 2:30 in the afternoon, it had already been an exhausting day for the pop star. There was an early morning appearance live on the "Today" show, then "The View" and a taping of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" -- all after having appeared on "Late Show With David Letterman" on Wednesday.
Bieber worked his way down the VIP purple carpet inside Macy's, greeting fans and a throng of media near a nearly 2-foot high Someday bottle topped with a pink and crimson flower. Perfume counters flanked the stage and walls of TV screens repeatedly played Bieber's sexy perfume commercial.
The chanting swelled: "Justin, Justin, Justin." And then: "Hey everybody..." Bieber was onstage -- cue an eruption of paparazzi-like flashbulbs and more shrieking from fans. Then: "OK, love you, peace," he said before sauntering offstage.
Who knew that was the tame part? The event was, understandably, not without a little drama. For the next several hours, Bieber would do a feverish junket of TV interviews upstairs on the 8th floor, where he also personally greeted and took pictures with the first 350 fans to buy his VIP gift set. One girl passed out, another child got lost, and the tears -- of both frustration and ecstasy -- flowed. Some mothers beamed as their offspring posed with arms around the man of the moment; other moms picked fights with Macy's staff, outraged that their kids hadn't gotten $135 worth of face time with the teen idol.

And of course there was the drama outside, when Bieber was greeting voracious fans outside the store. After the barrier-jumping brouhaha went down, he re-entered the store cradling his elbow as security hovered protectively around him.
But none of this dampened his fans' spirits. "It feels like he's a part of us," shrieked 14-year-old Melissa Lamorena. "He, like, made [the perfume]. And if we're wearing it, we're close to him!"
And doesn't Bieber know it: "#ilovemyfans and for those i didnt get to see today....thank u for your love and support. #wegohard #teambieber #someday," he tweeted late Thursday.

Lil Wayne Turns Down Recording With Justin Bieber

Lil Wayne has Justin Bieber's best interest at heart. In fact, Wayne is such a good mentor to Biebs that he refuses to work with the teenage sensation in an effort to keep his untainted poster boy image squeaky clean.

For his part, Bieber has long been affiliated with the Young Money camp. Justin is close friends with YM member Lil Twist and just this past year was spotted out around town sporting the signature YMCMB sweatshirt leading many to believe he was the latest act to sign with the house of hits.
In his candid interview with XXL magazine Wayne elaborates on his relationship with the teenager and why he won't lace Mr. Bieber with a few of those platinum Carter bars.
"That's my little homie now," Wayne told reporter Shaheem Reid. "He texts me every night asking me to do [his] d-mn song. That's my n-gga, but I can't do it. Like I said, I don't want to f--k his sh-t up."
While Justin Bieber might not exactly be on top of Wayne's wish list another Justin is a collaboration the Cash Money rapper is looking to lock in before handing in his Carter IV album.
"But like I said, I want to work with Justin Timberlake" Wayne continued. "That boy got a voice; that boy can sing. He needs to come back right there on Tha Carter IV."
The Lil Wayne XXL edition hits stands July 12.

Justin Bieber is preppy in pink for ‘Late Show’ appearance

Earlier today Justin Bieber tweeted, "gonna go hang out with my uncle dave," adorably referring to Late Show host David Letterman.

Speaking of adorable, the MuchMusic Video Awards performer was spotted heading into the Ed Sullivan Theater in a baby pink cardigan paired with pink-bottomed sneakers (the Biebs certainly loves his colorful kicks).
The "Next 2 You" singer greeted the paparazzi and posed for pictures with his beloved Beliebers before entering the television studio to spend some quality time with his "Uncle".

Justin Bieber's Someday perfume draws faithful fans to New York City Macy's

The New York sky was heavy with summer rain clouds about to burst. But on the corner of 34th and Broadway, a different storm was about to hit: Bieber-fever.

A veritable tween mob scene formed Wednesday outside Macy's , where Justin Bieber's new fragrance, Someday, officially launched on Monday. More than 300 Bieber fans -- mostly teen girls in cutoff shorts, ponytails and braces -- eagerly lined up outside the store's south entrance. Bieber is scheduled to stop by Thursday afternoon to greet the first 350 fans to purchase his VIP gift set ($135), which includes a photo with the pop star.

Whereas earlier Wednesday morning the scene was a little more mellow -- fans huddled in small groups chanting lyrics to Bieber hits like "One Time" and high-fiving passersby -- the chaos grew to be more organized. As if at a football game, the front half of the line screamed in unison: "SOME!" The back half of the line followed: "DAY!"

"These are pretty extreme fans," said Macy's spokeswoman Robin Reibel. A lot of these girls camped out in tents last night."
As of 10 a.m. Wednesday, the VIP tickets weren't sold out, but Reibel expects them to be. Large crowds are expected Thursday, and the store is working with added security and the New York Police Department.
Many of the frantic tweens in line traveled hours to get to the store and had been camped out since as early as 7 a.m. Tuesday. One fan, 15-year-old Killian Leahy, was the first in line. Why go to all the trouble?
"I love him!" she squealed. "His voice is, like, sex to my ears!"
Normally Leahy wears Viva LA Juicy perfume. But today she's more casual, sans any perfume and wearing a field hockey sweatshirt. Besides, Someday is her new fav fragrance. Its scent? Leahy grinned, her braces glinting in the sunlight: "Like sex in my nose!"

Selena Gomez Says Maybe She's in Love With JB

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are all over the place. It's hard to believe that the joined-at-the-hip teens now known as Jelena were once the most elusive, close-mouthed, and secretive are-they-or-aren't-they? celebrity couple in the world. Good thing all that has changed. Or has it? In a recent E! News interview, Selena talked about her new music video Love You Like a Love Song in particular, her feelings about love in general, and her feelings about Justin Bieber, not so much.

Oddly enough, Gomez maintains that the new love song and video are "all about her past and current flames." The reference to her current flame makes sense. The Teen Dream's presence in the video is obvious--especially in the T.V. screen sequence in which a cleverly disguised Selena Gomez masquerades as her teen idol beau, complete with bowl haircut and sunglasses. But her "past flames?" Does that mean that the song is also replete with hidden references to Nick Jonas and Taylor Lautner? Those romances--especially her affair with Jonas--didn't exactly turn out as Selena expected or hoped. Of course, in her new song, she's simply remembering the good times.
"It's basically talking about how crazy you are about someone whenever it's the beginning," she mused. "It's the honeymoon stage if you will. Because I'm only 18, I think love is supposed to be really fun, ... So that's how I interpret it, at this point in my life. I think it's really fun and you are supposed to enjoy it, kinda dive in."
Fair enough. And Gomez certainly seems to be practicing what she preaches by "diving in" to her ongoing relationship with "current flame," Justin Bieber. Nevertheless, when asked if she loved the Biebs "like a love song," Selena's reply was a blushingly coy:
"Maybe."
Maybe? After all that practically worldwide PDA? Maybe?
While the interviewer took Selena's "maybe" as just a girly speak for "yes," there may be other considerations. Perhaps it was a joke, much like the Biebs' asking her for a date onstage at the MMVAs. Maybe the "maybe" was just an auto-response. After all the world is still full of crazy beliebers. Or perhaps, Selena Gomez isn't as ready to dive in as she thinks--especially after her disastrous romance with Nick Jonas. Admitting feelings to oneself is sometimes far more complicated than making out on the beach.
Oh well, time will tell. Stay tuned. Same Jelena channel.

Selena Gomez jealous of Justin Bieber fans

Sources say the teen star becoming increasingly envious of boyfriend Justin Bieber and his relationship with his female fans.
“Selena has become more and more insecure because of the way Justin is with his fans,” says one source.
“Justin is a real flirt and loves the attention. While he tells Selena there’s nothing in it, she can’t help but feel upset about it and she told him so.”
Meanwhile, Gomez has confessed she never wanted to be a role model.
“I never really said I want to be a role model. But then when it happened I was so down for it,” she said.
“I’m human, I’m not perfect. I make mistakes all the time, but I guess my job is to keep those mistakes to myself, which I’m already fine doing and just try to be the best I can be for those kids.”

Bieber And His Feverish Fans Will Be In Herald Square THURSDAY

Fresh off of filming a PSA for the riot he caused in a Long Island mall back in 2009, Justin Bieber has just announced to his 10,488,546 million followers that he'll be at Macy's Herald Square this Thursday, meaning that those not infected with Bieber Fever should stay away from Macy's Herald Square this Thursday.

He'll be there promoting his new perfume line, called Someday, so we called the perfume counter to find out if employees there are worried for their lives. One man behind the counter just told us, "I've been answering calls about it all day, people are already lining up!"
So far there are only about 15 people in line, but Biebs just made this announcement, and who knows how many fans have maneuvered themselves into the air shafts or are posing as mannequins. By the way, the perfume bottle has a very... Georgia O'Keefe aesthetic.
But what does it smell like? One fan has noted on the Macy's site, "IT SMELLS GREAT U NEED TO GO BUY IT IT REALLY IS WHAT A GIRL WANTS." More specifically, there are top notes of mandarin, juicy pear, and wild berry; heart notes of jasmine and creamy florals, and a finish of vanilla musk.
We have contacted the NYPD and the FDNY's Special Bieber Units to find out what kind of security they'll be providing at Thursday's riot, and will update this post when we hear back.

Justin Bieber to Appear at BET Awards

The BET Awards honor the best in African American contribution to entertainment, which is exactly why Justin Bieber will be there. The pasty pint-sized Canadian will inject a little Bieb into things when he makes a special appearance at this year's show.

The 17 year-old maestro of tween pop will be at the Black Entertainment Television Awards on June 26 along with singers like Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Rowland, Trey Songz, Lil Wayne, Drake, Chris Brown, Alicia Keys and Jill Scott.
Of course, Bieber isn't exactly a newbieb on the BET scene. Last year he received a nomination in the Best New Artist category after the runaway success of his album, My World 2.0.
Bieber has also confessed in the past that he has been heavily influenced by black music, most notably that of Michael Jackson. "He was so broad, everybody loved him, and that's what my goal is - to basically make people happy, to inspire them, and to have everyone root for me," Bieber said last year.
In general, Bieber says he doesn't see music along color lines. It's all good no matter what color you are.
"Music is music," he said, "and I'm definitely influenced by Michael Jackson and Boyz II Men and people who were black artists - that's what I like. But I like their voices and I like how they entertain - it's not about what color they are."
White or not, we'll see if Bieber can fit in when the BET Awards airs live from L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium at 8 p.m. EST on June 26.

Attentive Justin protective with girlfriend Selena on stage

She was hospitalised for malnutrition last week.
But Selena Gomez’s boyfriend Justin Bieber, 17, is making sure to take good care of the former Disney star.
The teen idol wrapped a protective arm around his girlfriend, 18, as she hosted the Much Music Video Awards on Sunday, her first public appearance since falling ill.

Justin was on stage to accept the best international Canadian video award, and he later picked up the 'favourite artist by ordinary Canadians award'.
Selena looked back to health as she entertained the audience, slipping into an array of sparkly outfits during the course of the evening.
Meanwhile, attentive Justin was clad in a retro T-shirt with a printed picture of Saved By The Bell pin-up Tiffani Thiessen.

Selena later took to the stage again to perform her hit song, Who Says.
International heart-throb Justin took to Twitter after the show to thank his fans for the additions to his glowing trophy cabinet, and sent a cheeky message to his girlfriend.
“@selenagomez you did a great job and were lookin good. nice meeting you. lol. ;),” he tweeted.

Justin Bieber and Chris Brown release disturbing 'Next 2 You' video

Justin Bieber and Chris Brown may seem like an unlikely pair, but the duo have come together to release a video for their single "Next 2 You." The video is heavy on the explosions, flames, lightning, and destruction. It's an entirely different experience from a typical pop star video, and not necessarily in a good way.
So, how do the song and video rate with fans so far?  As of Monday, June 20, 2011, the "Next 2 You" video is absent from the top 100 most downloaded videos on iTunes.  However, the single itself is rated number 85 on the iTunes songs chart.
Boston, MA residents will see a very different side of Justin Bieber from what they witnessed during his November 2010 appearance at the TD Garden.  Bieber's Boston concert was completely sold out.  His live performance was very different from his new video "Next 2 You" with Chris Brown.
The gritty and disturbing video will probably appeal to die-hard Justin Bieber and Chris Brown fans who idolize the young celebrities' every move, both personal and professional. However, many people are sure to dislike the singers' new direction. Pop music is supposed to be fun.
The bottom line is that Justin Bieber and Chris Brown are unlikely to lose fans just because of one dark and disturbing video. In fact, they might actually find recognition from a wider audience, if they're lucky. Hopefully, they won't alienate their fan base in the process.
It will be particularly interesting to see how Justin Bieber's youngest fans respond to the violent new video. According to PopEater, the video may be "a little too intense."

Justin Bieber to Appear on 'The View' for Third Time

On Thursday’s show, the 17-year-old singer will take part in the “Hot Topics” segment with co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd for the first segment of the show.

Bieber’s appearance on The View is to promote his new fragrance Someday.

In addition, Bieber and Hasselbeck will be competing in a Segway scooter race on set.

It’s been a busy few days for Bieber, who took home two awards at the MuchMusic Video Awards on Sunday night: International Video of the Year by a Canadian for “Sombody to Love” featuring Usher and UR FAVE New Artist. When Bieber accepted his award for international video, he said to girlfriend Selena Gomez — who hosted the ceremony: “You’re very beautiful. Maybe we can go out something.”

Justin Bieber scores big laughs at manager's 30th birthday roast

Justin Bieber may be closing in on triple-threat territory sooner than we think: the 17-year-old got big laughs roasting his manager Scooter Braun on Saturday.

At Hollywood's Music Box theater, Bieber joined his mentor Usher for an exclusive 30th birthday roast of Braun, credited with discovering the music phenomenon in 2008.

"Justin did an impersonation of Scooter negotiating a deal on the phone," a partygoer tells the Ministry. "He had everyone in stitches. He was pretending Scooter was setting up a sequel to 'Never Say Never.'"
"My name has to be on the poster," Bieber demanded in his bit about Braun. "... and we're calling it 'Never Say Never Ever.'"
The film, a 3-D concert flick that charts Bieber's  rise to fame, netted almost $75 million in domestic box office and further solidified Bieber Fever.
Following the jab-fest, emceed by Usher, a party ensued that naturally featured the talents of Braun's clients and friends.
Bieber was joined onstage by Jaden Smith, son of Will and Jada, and the duo belted their hit "Never Say Never," followed by Bieber's single "Baby." It didn't take long for Usher to offer up "OMG" and "DJ Got Us Fallin' in Love."
Bieber surprised Braun by booking MC Hammer to throw down tracks like "Too Legit to Quit." Braun's pal and "The Voice" judge Adam Levine got inspired to climb up on stage and sing the Maroon 5 hit  "This Love" -- pulling Braun up with him and making him dance. Asher Roth, another Braun client, performed his single "I Love College."
Celeb revelers included basketballer Jay Williams, singer Mary J. Blige with husband Kendu Isaacs, Rita Wilson with son Chester (or Chet, as his hip-hop persona is called), Madonna's manager Guy Oseary and reality personality Kim Kardashian.

Chris Brown made Justin Bieber 'mad' during collaboration

Chris Brown has said that he made Justin Bieber "mad" during the recording of their new single.
The track 'Next 2 You' is the second time the two worked together following their duet 'Up', from Bieber's album 'Never Say Never - The Remixes'.
Brown told MTV that the two had rubbed each other the wrong way during the recording session.
"I actually stood him up on accident," Brown said. "He was kind of mad... I was all the way on the other side of town handling some business - girl business - and I was rushing back, and by that time, he's like, 'Man, I'm leaving, bro. I did it — just check it out.' And I looked at it and listened to it and I was like, 'Man, this is crazy.' He''s a great kid."
Brown was full of praise of the tween star. "Being able to collab with (Bieber) was great," Brown said. "He's a young, energetic cat, so being able to work with him, with the fanbase he has, was incredible. I know a lot of little girls are going to love this record."

Bieber and Gaga stir up the crowd

Stratford teen's unscheduled appearance and performances by pop queen are talk of show

And the crowd went Gaga.
The ineffable Lady, dressed in a robin's-egg blue wig and a black leather-studded body suit, opened the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards with a performance of "The Edge of Glory" that drew prolonged screams of appreciation from the thousands massed along Queen St. W. outside of MuchMusic headquarters.
Gaga also closed the show, emerging from a plastic egg in black feathered costume to sing her hit "Born This Way."
Selena Gomez, who's dating Canadian pop sensation Justin Bieber, did double duty as co-host and performer, 10 days after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital for treatment of nausea and fatigue.
"You guys may not know this, but I love everything about Canada," Gomez told the cheering crowd, citing hockey and Saskatchewan as among her favourite Canadian things.
Bieber shocked his shrieking fans with an unscheduled appearance at the awards.
He claimed the first trophy handed out on the show: his "Somebody to Love," featuring Usher, tied for best International Video of the Year by a Canadian with Drake's "Find Your Love."
Onstage with his girlfriend, Bieber joked that he was meeting Gomez for the first time. "You're very beautiful. Maybe we could go out sometime?" he quipped.
"Somebody to Love" also claimed the fan-voted "Ur Fave" New Artist prize.
Lady Gaga also claimed two prizes: International Video of the Year, Artist for "Judas" and Ur Fave International Video for "Born This Way."
The only other double winner was English singer Taio Cruz, who claimed MuchMusic.Com Most Streamed Video and Most Watched Video for "Dynamite."
The Video of the Year trophy went to R&B singer Shawn Desman for "Electric/Night Like This." Fefe Dobson took the Ur Fave Video award for "Stuttering."
Other performers included Canadian pop/rock star Avril Lavigne, rapper Snoop Dogg (who was also a presenter), Bruno Mars, City and Colour, the Black Keys, Down With Webster, Simple Plan, Far East Movement and Fefe Dobson.

Justin Bieber Celebrates Friend's Birthday with Beer Pong: No Selena Gomez!

Justin Bieber attended his good friend and manager Scooter Braun's birthday party on Saturday night. Although girlfriend Selena Gomez wasn't there, as she was probably preparing to host Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto, Bieber found plenty to keep him busy at the party -- like beer pong!

Braun turned the big 3-0 on June 18 and celebrated in the true over-the-top fashion that one would expect from the guy who discovered the Biebs. Carnival-themed, fire throwers, belly dancers and other extravagance reportedly converged at Hollywood's storied Music Box venue -- the perfect spot given its ode to Roaring Twenties-era decadence.
But, fire throwers aside, it was the A-List crowd that really turned up the heat, including the engaged Kim Kardashian (sans fiancé Kris Humphries and fresh from another birthday, her sister Khloe's in Vegas), Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige. Many of the party's guest list even took to the stage to perform, including Justin Bieber himself. The pop sensation sang "Never Say Never," accompanied by Jaden Smith, who also took over the Ludacris part in "Baby."
MC Hammer, Maroon 5's Adam Levine and even Usher also belted out a few sets. These were definitely not the standard carnival sideshow acts!
Despite all the action, the 17-year-old Justin Bieber apparently spent a large part of the night chilling and playing beer pong with Jaden Smith, 12 (that is, after they performed!). But, not to worry, no real beer was consumed by the underaged. They played with nothing stronger than water.
Too bad Selena Gomez couldn't join Justin Bieber for the birthday extravaganza. But maybe he'll keep the party going and jet to Canada for the MMVAs on Sunday night.

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez: Has The PDA Subsided?

It seems that many people have gotten used to the idea of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez being together. In the beginning of the relationship there was a rash of threats against Selena for taking the chance of being with the Bieb away from many of his young fans.

The fact that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were always jetting around to different locations showing off their new love in public gave plenty of fuel to the fire that was burning.
There were also some fans that said that Justin Bieber was a fair-weather boyfriend when he did not rush to be with Selena when she was hospitalized after the Tonight Show with Jay Leno but once he headed to Atlanta to be with her on her ‘Monte Carlo’ tour to promote her new movie people were eating their words.
It seems that a lot of the PDA has subsided as the newness of the relationship has worn off but that doesn’t mean that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber don’t love each other anymore, it just means that they are getting used to each other and finding out what might better be left in private.
Do you think the lack of PDA is sign of a fading relationship or are you glad they have toned it down?
