Justin Bieber is a big boxing fan in general. And he's a fan of one famous pugilist in particular—Heavyweight Champion David Haye. And David Haye, belieb it or not, has Bieber fever. The champ has compared the Teen Dream to the young Michael Jackson and called him "a universal phenomenon." During the Bieb's My World Tour, the two mutual admiration society members decided to climb into the ring and go a few rounds—just for fun.
Justin Bieber and his friend, WBA Heavyweight Champion of the World David Haye, have a lot in common. Both have overcome seemingly insurmountable odds to achieve their goals. In the video clip, which you can watch below, David gives JB pointers about pugilism and JB opens up about his incredible success, his ability to relate to his fans, and his favorite celebrities. (Hint: the artist he'd most like to duet with is Lil Wayne.) A potentially awkward moment occurs when David asks Justin about his favorite boxer. After what seems like a long hesitation, the Biebs answers truthfully, "Mike Tyson." To which David smilingly replies, "Mike Tyson is a fan of yours, as well. He's probably one of your toughest fans for sure."
For sure.
Watch the entire Justin Bieber-David Haye sparring match. And Never Say Never.
