Justin Bieber must really know what women want! Last year he co-designed an exclusive line of nail lacquers with Nicole by OPI which was sold at Walmart and he created scented-dog tags for both men and women. And this year he is releasing a floral fragrance for women called Someday.
The fragrance is set to officially arrive to stores on June 23 and to kick off the launch party festivities, Justin has teamed up with Charity Buzz to auction off a meet-and-greet with proceeds going to Give Back Brands Foundation and Communities in Schools. But thats not all! Proceeds from purchases of Someday will go to Make-a-Wish and Pencils of Promise. In a recent interview, Justin explains involving altrustic goals with fragrance marketing:
Someday is the idea that we can change the world, make our dreams come true, and even be with the one person that means everything. Giving back has always been incredibly important to me, but let‟s be honest … I wanted to create a fragrance for my female fans that I can‟t get enough of … that I want to get next to and I can’t stay away from. I know they’ll love the scent, but also the opportunity to support some amazing charities. It’s a gift that gives back.
I love what Justin is doing! He’s not only creating cool cosmetics and products just for his fans, but he’s using his fame for the greater good. His frequent charity work projects which have included Great Ornand Street Hospital Children’s Charity and PETA, make him a wonderful role model for the younger generation.
Its pretty obvious that some celebrities use a few pet charities to enhance their own image, but its seems to me that when it comes to making a difference, Justin really cares. The fact that he has been involved in many different organizations including education programs, children charities, and pet charities proves that he’s serious about helping in every way possible.
