Most 17-year-olds might be lucky to earn minimum wage—but Justin Bieber isn’t most 17-year-olds. The performer is estimated to have earned $53M in 2010, more than Miley Cyrus, and Taylor Swift, and Rhianna.
The 2010 release of “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never” didn’t hurt. The film grossed more than $97M worldwide on an estimated $13M production budget. Bieber’s share of the film’s estimated $84M profit will certainly bolster the star’s 2010 and 2011 earnings.
News of Bieber’s earnings came when Forbes (who seems to know what everybody makes) published its list of Best-Paid Celebrities Under 30. At 17, Bieber is easily the youngest on the list. The eldest is Beyonce coming in at $35M at the age of 29.
