Justin Bieber To Release Two More Music Albums Before Moving On To Acting Career

Justin Bieber has finally closed the last chapter of his “My World” tour and is embarking on a new career. He is not stepping away from music altogether, but it will be taking a back seat while he pursues a career in acting. Don’t panic, he will be leaving his fans with two new albums before he tries out his acting chops on the big screen.

Justin reveals he hopes to film his first film sometime next year 2012. His first foray into the world of movies was very successful. His “Never Say Never” movie earned  $98 million. No wonder he wants to cash in on his astronomical celebrity status.

There have been numerous rumors about the kind of role Justin will choose for the big screen. The most likely option for the young star is something in the comedy field. One popular rumor involved Ashton Kutcher as Justin’s co-star in his first film. Justin reveals his team is sorting through the scripts. Justin has his own ideas, “I want to do a comedy with Will Ferrell.” His movie plans are on the back burner for now. The 17-year-old star says, “Hopefully next summer I can start on a movie or something.”

His movie plans are on the back burner for now. His Christmas album will drop on November 1st, and he will be very busy promoting throughout the holidays. He has already been working on the next album as well. The tentatively named “Believe” album will hopefully be released by next summer, but Justin’s manager cautions fans from getting their hopes up. His manager, Scooter Braun, says nothing will be out until Justin has made it “perfect.”

Justin credits Justin Timberlake for providing the inspiration for his next album. Braun reveals Justin’s active role in the album, “He’s pretty adamant about writing a lot of [the album].”  The Canadian crooner says, “I’m trying to create a new sound that people aren’t really used to hearing.” He likens his maturing sound to Timberlake and says, “like when Justin Timberlake did FutureSex/LoveSounds: It was a new sound … acoustic guitar over hard drums.”

Justin Bieber Hopes To Shoot A Movie By Summer

His team is already 'working on the script,' Bieber tells MTV News.

Although most of Justin Bieber's time revolves around his music career (he has not one, but two albums in the works), the young entrepreneur also seems to have designs on a career in Hollywood.

Yes, he already hit the big screen with last year's box-office success "Never Say Never," but that film was unscripted and a biopic of sorts. When MTV News caught up with Bieber recently during the "MTV First" premiere of his "Mistletoe" video, he revealed that although he has a lot on his plate, he wants to make time to make a movie.

"What's happening is: get off this tour, and then my [holiday] album's coming out, so I have to go back out and promote that album ... and then after that ... it's almost time for my next album, so then everything starts over again," Bieber told us. "Hopefully next summer I can start on a movie or something," he snuck in.

And although Bieber didn't divulge exactly what kind of movie he wants to do, he did say that his team is "working on the script."

The 17-year-old teen heartthrob has expressed an interest in pursuing an acting career, particularly after he guest-starred on "CSI" last year, where he received praise from the show's executive producer and managed to impress everyone in the cast with his work ethic.

Bieber has also said he'd love to try out his comedic skills. "[I want] to do a comedy with Will Ferrell, like play his son or something like that," Bieber said, adding, "What's up, Will?"

Justin Bieber's Next Big Adventure: Pee-wee Herman's Movie?

SAN DIEGO — Beliebers are in luck, because Justin Bieber might be heading to the big screen once again soon, if Pee-wee Herman has his way.

Turns out Herman, who has been working on a new film alongside producer Judd Apatow, has recently written the VMA nominee in as one of the celebrity cameos. The only problem? Bieber doesn't know yet.
"I can't really tell [what the cameo is], but he makes an appearance toward the end of the film," Herman (actor Paul Reubens, but we definitely interviewed Pee-wee) told MTV News at San Diego Comic-Con. "He doesn't know about it yet, so if you're watching this, Justin!"
That's not the only grade-A cameo Herman has written into the script. He has his eyes on lots of stars — and the White House.
"There's a party scene in the film that I think will have a lot of the stars. We just wrote President Obama into them. We have an offer out to him," Herman unveiled. Will any other government officials be given a role in the movie? "Sarah Palin wasn't asked. I have to draw the line somewhere, and unfortunately that's where it was drawn. I'm sorry, Sarah, I'm sorry," he whispered.
The script for the currently unnamed comedy is being looked at by Universal Studios at the moment, and Herman said he hoped filming could begin within the next couple of months. It only helps that he has Apatow in his court and that the director/producer has words of wisdom to pass on to Herman to make the best comedy he can.

"He's given us the same advice over and over again, which is 'emotional arc,' " Herman explained. "He wants the character to go through an emotional arc and to come out on the other end arced. So that's what we're doing. We're adding an emotional arc. Emotional growth, so there's a change in Pee-wee Herman during this film. Pee-wee makes a change."

Justin Bieber, Mark Wahlberg Open Up About Basketball Flick

'It's going to be crazy,' Bieber promises at MTV Movie Awards.

It seems that things are well under way for the basketball movie starring Mark Wahlberg and Justin Bieber. How do we know? Well, the guys themselves updated us this weekend at two of the biggest events of the summer.

Wahlberg told MTV News on Saturday night at Spike's Guys Choice Awards that while he thought he'd be playing Bieber's part initially, he eventually came around to playing the "old guy" role.

"Wait till you see me and Bieber in the flick. Think of like 'The Color of Money,' " he teased. "So I get this call from Paramount [where they tell me about the story about] an old guy and a young guy. I'm like, 'Cool, let's get Jack [Nicholson]. Let's get Robert De Niro. Let's get Robert Duvall.' And they go, 'What about Garrett Hedlund?'

"I'm like, 'For what?' " he further recalled. "They're like, 'For the young guy.' "

The next day, at the MTV Movie Awards, Justin Bieber seemed equally excited about the project, if not a bit tight-lipped. "I know ," he promised. "You'll have to see. I can't really reveal too much about it."

According to previous reports, Wahlberg has been keeping tabs on the young star. "He loves the idea," Wahlberg said last month. "He's been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he's really talented." The idea was sparked after Wahlberg and partner Stephen Levinson caught Bieber playing basketball in February during a celebrity game held during NBA All-Star Game weekend.
