Justin Bieber Talks Selena Gomez and Ex-Girlfriend Caitlin Beadles

In a recent radio interview, Justin Bieber talked about his 2 serious relationships with 2 very different women--his first love, Caitlin Beadles, and his current love, singer/actress Selena Gomez. The Teen Dream has often said that he doesn't kiss and tell, and he tried to avoid talking about his love life during the interview. Nevertheless, the wily interviewers managed to draw him into it, and he wound up reluctantly divulging some personal information about his past and present love life before shutting them down.

Poor Justin Bieber. In a September 9 interview with the Mike Missanelli Show on 97.5 Fanatic FM, the Teen Dream was inadvertently drawn into talking about the 2 serious relationships of his 17-year-old life. The first was with Caitlin Beadles, the older sister of his childhood BFF, Christian Beadles. That ended a while ago, although JB admitted in the interview that he and Caitlin were still involved when he and Selena first met. Ouch. Relax. Nothing inappropriate transpired since he and Selena were just friends at the time. Jelena didn't begin until well after "Jaitlin" ended.

Speaking of Selena Gomez, when Missanelli asks Justin how he managed to "make the approach [and] hook it up" with the gorgeous Who Says? songstress, JB seems mystified--even now--at his good fortune.

"You know," replies the Biebs, "I was... I was... pretty shocked myself. She's very beautiful..." Awww.

Not surprisingly, Justin quickly changes the subject to sports when asked what his ex Caitlin Beadles is doing now, and, more importantly, if she's still nursing a broken heart. Yikes. No wonder JB avoided those questions. Selena Gomez has admitted she's the jealous type, and his answers might send her round the bend; especially since she knows that Justin Bieber and Caitlin Beadles reconnected less than 3 months ago. They even went on a go-karting group playdate with her brother, Jaden Smith, Justin's dad, and the ubiquitous Kenny Hamilton. Good for you, Biebs. Discretion is indeed the better part of valor. Or to put that another way: Deny everything. Die denying it.

Interestingly, a Justin Bieber fan site conducted poll that asked which couple most beliebers preferred: Jaitlin or Jelena. Team Jelena won hands down with a whopping 45.77 percent of the votes. Team Jaitlin got only 30.29 percent. Not surprisingly, almost 24 percent of those polled thought of themselves as "Neither." They probably wrote in their own names combined with their idol's. Team Jarbara, for example, or Jourtney or Jevon.
